The Tel Aviv District Court indicted restaurateur Pinchas Schneider on charges of rape, sodomy and assault on Sunday, and rejected his plea for anonymity.

Schneider, owner of Aphrodisiac, a Japanese restaurant in Tel Aviv, was accused of raping a woman after she refused to have sex with him.

According to the indictment, Schneider tried to convince the woman not to file a complaint with the police due to concern that it would harm his business.

Judge David Rosen rejected Schneider's request that his name not be publicized.
