Tal Alaluf, a 23-year-old Jaffa resident, has confessed to raping a 13-year-old boy he "groomed" via an Internet chat room, according to police detectives. Alaluf, who was arrested 10 days ago, will appear in court on Wednesday, where he will be charged.

The victim told police that he met Alaluf while chatting on the Internet. According to the complaint he filed, Alaluf showed up at his house one evening while his parents were not at home.

He took the boy to his bedroom ,where he raped and sodomized him. A few days after the incident, the boy began to feel unwell, and told his mother what had happened. A medical exam showed that the boy was suffering from a sexually transmitted disease.

A gag order on the case was lifted Tuesday. Police are continuing to examine the suspect's Internet records.
