Case of Martin Kaufman

Martin Kaufman was convicted of statutory sexual assault, indecent assault and corruption of minors, 11 1/2 to 23 months in jail, followed by five years of probation, pay restitution, continue counseling through the Johns Hopkins clinic for sexual disorders. Other charges of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and luring a child into a motor vehicle were dismissed.

According to reports from members of the Baltimore orthodox community,  Martin Kaufman is connected to the Glenn Avenue Shul and has been protected by Rabbi Yaakov Hopfer.
